Asstastic.

Yeah, that pretty much sums it up.

Yawn.  Monday.  Blech.

But two things that make it easier to come in this morning:

Watching the football team workout on their morning run.  Yes, I know they're barely legal and all, but yum.
The construction contractors working on my new office.  I'm not exactly in a hurry for them to finish by fall.

Yesterday I was called out as a pessimist.

Is that so?  And if, is that so wrong?

For all intents and purposes, I don't feel like I've ever been much of a pessimist.  Realist?  Hell yes.  Sometimes you just have to go with experience.  But when someone who was responsible for so much faith and hopefulness in my life, one who encouraged the biggest leap of faith I've ever dared to stride, calls you one without those very things, it sort of comes full circle.

• BANG THUMP BANG DING CLANK.  My new office is under construction, and I'm within earshot of it.  Two months to go - boo!
• Yay on ANTM!  Both finalists were awesome, and ding dong the witch is dead.
• I'm experimenting with fake meats.  No reason, really.  Currently on "soysage," then moving to "chikin."  Will report back.
• State of the Hair Address:  I'm almost to the length I need to donate to Locks of Love and still have hair left, but it is getting stringy and annoying.  Need an intervention in the meantime.
• High gravity beer hates Lori.  SW's Double D and Happy Ending?  Hate her.  Headaches ensue.
• Next Big Ass Trip™:  Taiwan.  Want to bring mommy along.

... but Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is the coolest name ever.
