Since the Mr. and I are expecting a little arrival any day now, last night was my* last Atlanta blogger meetup for the next few months.  You know that thing about babies needing to be taken care of, blah blah blah, yeah.  So for the next few, Fabio and others will be in charge of you all getting drunk every month.  Enjoy!

We had a good time at The Albert last night.  There was trivia to be conquered (and coincidentally they had questions about pregnancy and Disney attractions – score), as well as rainbow cake to be had.

Good times.  I’ll miss you kids at the meetups, but I’ll still be here blogging about awesome things like MUCUS PLUGS! and NIPPLE CHAFING! for your entertainment.

The APWBWGTTD meetup was a smashing comeback. Hope to see everyone again next month. I forgot my camera, so photos are by Maigh, Brian, and Shelby.

The Shins were excellent on Wednesday night. I was impressed by the sound quality at my first civic center concert, too. AND they played “Australia”, which means a lot to me. Of course I didn’t have my camera (again), but took a phone photo.

I got a bunch of new photos of my niece. How can she possibly be so grown up now?

Today is the International Day of the Nacho. Guess what’s for dinner?

Lastly, tomorrow I’m picking up a sewing machine. Yes, it’s my next feat of domesticity. I was a little apprehensive at first, mostly from memories of me and my mother screaming at each other in frustration when she tried to teach me eons ago. We’ll see how round 2 goes. I’ll follow that by lunch and shopping at Super H Mart – bulgogi and ban chan here I come.

That’s about as productive as I can get today.

For those of you who have been following the drama of that last meetup, you’ll note that it was much ado about nothing.  For those who haven’t, um, same conclusion.

What you did miss at the meetup are some new ideas and new plans for the site, which I’m pretty stoked about.  Kick The Donkey and Hollismb have provided total support for the group from day one, and I clearly have the easiest job out of the three of us (even if you all still complain on the evites!).  They are awesome, dealing with us dorks for free, and maintaining site and server support – rock on guys!

So here’s to a new design, new user options, logo contest, blogger prom, and all the other good stuff to come.  Hope to see the rest of you bitches at the next one.

So don’t be a candy ass and make sure you get there.  I’m sure there will be dancing at Mary’s to follow.  Plus, I owe hakeber a beer.

APWBWGTTD celebrated our first anniversary on Thursday night.  A year ago, seven blogging folks got suckered into an evite from yours truly and we all met up at The Righteous Room.  We had enough fun to make it a monthly event.  Then a website was made, thongs were sold, and now we have 42 members.

Sadly, I really did know only 3 or 4 songs last night, but they were the classics.  There was this one little demure girl in front of us swaying to the music and singing along.  The boy and I couldn’t believe she knew every single word to every song.  No tank top, no feathered hair either.  Amazing.

I am spent, but tonight there is dinner with friends that will surely include pitchers of margaritas and another late one.

And tomorrow?  Yeah, it’s APWBWGTTD’s One Year Blogaversary at Trader Vic’s.  Fruity drinks (that kick your ass) with fresh flowers and menehune – it’s on!
