Molly has a somewhat limited vocabulary, so we have to work with what we've got. Also effective: "outside", "stick", and "who's my molly sue pook-a-poo baby schmoopy-poo."

Sticky

We definitely put the "sticky" in Sticky Pennies at ICE Atlanta - it was DAMN hot out there. Miserable, glaring-sun hot with no breeze whatsoever for over 8 hours. I'm not quite sure why people insist on holding events outdoors in Atlanta beyond April. I must have had gallons and gallons of water to drink, but only peed once. You know what that means - PEE SWEAT. The funniest thing that happened was our first tent collapsing right as ICE was starting: Our first tent's carcass Here we are in our second tent. I win the record for fastest driving to a store on Howell Mill & back with a tent: Sticky Pennies booth at ICE Atlanta Thanks to everyone that stopped by and braved the heat. Smooches.

ICE tomorrow

ICE Atlanta is tomorrow! I finally got all my crafts & cards and other random shit together, boxed, and ready for drop off at 8 am (ugh) tomorrow. See me and the rest of Sticky Pennies at booth #3. Tonight is the pre-show soiree at Young Blood, followed by some fun and drinkies at the Highland Ballroom. Oh, and the most exciting addition to our craft empire? We done got ourselves a knuckle buster fer on-site transactions. Legit, bitches.

The Foodies

During a recent dinner to the former Frank Ma's for Hakeber's birthday, I came up with the idea of starting a regular dinner outing for the more "foodie" types of us within the group. There are several of us who love to try new cuisines and are a little more experimental. Plus, I'm just so sick of total lack of diversity in cuisine in and around the area. Lately anything good we've had around the 'hood has been standard, comforting pub fare. Everything else is just overly-pretentious, stylish food(?) without flavor or substance. Yeah, I'm getting all Gordon Ramsey on you. So there. his past weekend we ventured out to Panahar, a Bangladeshi restaurant on Buford Highway. I'm not going to go into much detail about the food (you can read the yelp! reviews instead), but I have to say that this is something I can really get used to. I had so much fun, and it's even better to have people in the group take turns picking out the next visit. So we're off to Machu Picchu next for some Peruvian cuisine. I personally have been there before (LOVE), so I'm excited to go back to try more dishes. Papas a la huacaina, here I come.

The easier way

Although I don't think there are nearly enough popped collars on the M students shown. INACCURATE!
