They were handing out hundreds of these today at the student center.
Either absolutely nothing will happen, or I'll be bouncing off the walls in about an hour. Sneaky peeky

So after looking around for a while, I've decided that wedding invitations are really, really ugly and boring. Even my good ol' standy Etsy failed me (there are some cute ones on there, but they're just so not us, you know?). Because of this, we've decided to make our own.
We purchased bulk four-paneled cd sleeves (100% recycled, thankyouverymuch) from the famed Stumptown Printers in Portland. Then we stocked up on craft & gocco supplies from Paper Source (I'm such a nerd - that store makes me squeal with glee every time). Plus, nothing says "love" more than matching glue guns, no?
Here's the first sneak peek of our work in progress:

We're okay, the house is okay; it completely missed our neighborhood. Molly woke us up scared and crying last night, and we realized the wind and rain sounded like a freight train (which made sense since we live near the tracks). Unfortunately, it was something much worse.
Cabbagetown and downtown look like they've been shredded to bits. Our thoughts are with everyone affected.
Andisheh has some pretty good coverage and photos here.

UPDATE: So, the second tornado came and went. This was a little less scary than the one last night, but there was still hail. Again (thankfully), no damage here.
