Spoon

Last night we went to see Spoon play a special promo show at Park Tavern with tickets courtesy of Bobafred's sister (thanks Lisa!).
It was my first time seeing them live, and I definitely thought they sounded great. Some weird things, though:
- the show wasn't promoted very much and I think there were as many people there who had no idea who Spoon was as there were fans.
- we later saw the lead singer at the Highlander and we told him it was a good show. He acted like a douche and was too busy with his female-friend to acknowledge anything we said. Kinda put a damper on things.
Oh well. I'm still happy to have them in my iPod.
I was planning on buying some Spoon today, but then that guy was a douche, so I’m not. Take that Spoon!

Jealous I didn’t get to go! I like Spoon! Sucks he was a douche though… I hate when “famous” people let it go to their head.
Totally sucks that he was a douche, but the important question is…did you give him the card?
