The headlines on AJC.com yesterday included some freakish things like a hunter bagging a 7-legged deer, 7-foot python in a toilet, and this.
Interesting trivia: he is from the same province in Mongolia as my great-grandparents.

Yeah, I've been on hiatus for a while. Not that I haven't had much to say, but that it's been an entirely crazy end to the semester and the wheels would just not stop turning. But it's all coming to an end (thank the baby jebus) and now we're back to our regularly scheduled programming. Oh yay, a list!
Things I've thought about posting but just haven't had the time:
- Thanksgiving was fantastic, my niece is adorable, and the karaoke continues.
- Met my ex-husband for drinks while home for Thanksgiving. He's just so... sad.
- My plane made an emergency landing shortly after taking off from Orlando. A large bird got sucked into the engine. The was a loud "boom" and we smelled something burning. It was not good. I have not had much luck with planes lately. But they did give me free tickets and I didn't die, so I guess I win or something?
- My roomba is one of my favorite things ever
- Participating in my annual TC ornament exchange and the Great International City Swap
- Being all ba-humbuggy this holiday season
- Trying to decide on new glasses. Yes? No? I don't know.
- That I've said I needed to get a pedicure for the last 3 weeks and just don't have the time
- Reaching an age where I have no idea what half the stuff is on my cousins' wishlists
- The boy bought me a real live xmas tree that actually fits in the apartment. A city tree!
