My friend J is leaving Atlanta. Her husband got a fantastic new job and they're packing up the kitties, selling the house, and moving to Park City, Utah. And she, in turn, got a fabulous job there just.like.that. because that's how awesome she is.
She was my first friend friend in Atlanta. You know, the kind I could actually stand for more than a few hours. The kind that was good to go to lunch with, work with, have drinks with, and not want to punch them in the head.
I will miss her, but it gives me a great reason (besides the damn gorgeous place she's moving to) to travel and go visit her.

The girl in the mirror this morning? Not so pretty.
The dark circles under my eyes, the dehydrated skin, the hoarse and raspy voice, the ... *yawn* ... The past few weeks of activity and crawling into bed in the wee hours have gotten to me and made its visible impact.
Sigh... I think it's high time for a little indoor hibernation for the next couple of weeks. Nothing a little Netflix, a curfew, and a little sleep can't fix, right?
