I cracked open the powerbook when I got home. The network signal wasn't showing, so I pointed it back to our home wireless network.
"Airport not able to connect to network"
Blink. Blink. Blink.
So I rebooted the router, checked to see that the airport was green-lighted, and restarted the mac.
"Airport not able to connect to network"
Eeeh. Sniff. Gah.
So I recheck everything. Cords intact, no evidence of dog chewing, shows signs of picking up other networks. Tried the airport help feature.

So there you have it. I am wireless-less at home until I can figure out what's going on. Hopefully my hair will grow back in the meantime.
See, had you cut your hair like I thought you had it would have been much harder to pull out.
Best luck with the internet access.
you are home already for the day? Jealous!
Ha! No, this happened yesterday.
I’ve been having Airport troubles as well. Try reseting the base station. It has worked for me, even though it left me unsatisfied not knowing what the actual problem was in the begining.
