If we were adults we’d probably

... realize that we're not on vacation anymore and should cook a meal
... shop for groceries since all we have is beer and salad dressing in the fridge
... not cry when we can't fast forward the TiFaux since the dog ate the remote
... talk about something other than vacations or LOST today (I mean seriously, how freaking good was last night's ending?!)

Back on this continent

Sigh.

Spain was a m a z i n g.  Despite the not so good reports on the weather before we left, it was sunny and cool the entire time (save for one beautiful roll of dark clouds in the Segovian evening).  We spent a few days in Madrid, then Toledo and Segovia, before heading back to Madrid for one last day.  I've decided that perhaps I was really meant to be born Spanish after all; everything seemed perfectly perfect, you know?

Since I'm in utter vacation withdrawal, and have finally finished tagging all four gajillion photos in Flickr, the next few posts will be about Spain.

The boy and I are off to Spain.  First stop Madrid, then Toledo and Segovia.

Play nice, and we'll see you next week.

Progress

Yesterday's biggest accomplishment was sitting upright for more than 30 minutes and getting a high score of 16,220 in Bejeweled on my cell phone.

This morning I reacquainted myself with the shower, clothing, shoes, and ventured outside and was off to work.  It seems the plague has spread throughout the department, as I learned many people were out sick yesterday as well.

I left around 3pm to go to the doctor.  I got the usual poking and prodding, and I scored a z-pack and some liquid codeine.

Naturally, I'm feeling (relatively) dandy now.
