Speaking of detrimental conditions

How does one know they have a concussion?

Seriously, the puppy's skull collided with my temple (quite badly) last night.  She is just dandy, but it was like a giant dagger went through my temple.  Ouch, ouch, ouch.

It's still kind of numb, but I also feel slightly elated and was extremely pleasant this morning without coffee.  It like "whee!" a la Schrute.

chances are, if you woke back up after falling asleep, you don’t have one. It can cause swelling in the brain, and I think even pooling of blood in the skull if it is serious enough. I doubt that it is anything, if you aren’t in really any significant pain, and aren’t experiencing dizziness, drowsiness, confusion, etc.

    You are probably fine!

My experience, from my past concussion(s): If you’re seriously considering whether or not you have a concussion, you probably don’t.
