Day 2 of unemployment was getting back to nature. Well, sort of.
I'm spent a large part of the day by the pool (hey, it is outdoors). Later in the evening we were heading to the botanical garden for a photo stroll, but the boy had a hard day and consequently had a meltdown en route. We quickly fixed that with beer and burritos at Willy's. However, I've seriously neglected my flickr group and need to get back into the swing of things. Plus, this weekend is the Whirlyball show down.
And, for what it's worth, I did do something useful and signed up for temporary health insurance. It was quite easy, and a million times cheaper than COBRA. Plus I was all domestic and shit and cleaned the rug, mopped the floor, put up new blinds to replace the ones Maggie tore down, and baked 2 dozen chocolate chip cookies from scratch. Without an ankle bracelet!
